In Toronto it’s ridiculous cuz everybody wanna talk a derivative of Jamaican and Ethiopian slang like it’s their first language while I’m over here like: “Yo Becky, Hardeep and Osmun…. You sound like fuckin eeediots!”

I was just saying the other day to my friend — what if it was against the law to use black culture (dress, linguistics, music, dance, FOOD) for 5 years….what would white people do?

My friend said probably mass lynchings and then suicide 👀

Everybody everywhere wants to copy us! It's very strange. I genuinely think that if they couldn't use our culture, they would grow very bored or weirdly hostile (because they wanna claim something they can't have).
